Springfield Police Department

The mission of the Police department is not only to provide for public safety but also to improve the quality of life for the people in Springfield by protecting, serving and working with the public to develop philosophies which promote equity and establish partnerships between citizens and the police.

In the fall of 2007, Hatikvah and ADL offered a workshop for new police recruits. The full day program used Hatikvah’s permanent exhibit and the ADL instruction for extremism training for law enforcement officials.
