"In Search of Jewish Amsterdam"

This documentary, produced in the Netherlands in 1975, explores the world of the Jewish people living in Amsterdam and their culture before, during and after World War II.   

This movie was the beginning of the Dutch Jewry story that was told in many different ways throughout the spring and summer of 2006.  Shown at the Yiddish Book Center, it was part of Hatikvah’s on-going partnership with them.
