How 700 Dutch Jews avoided deportation by hiding in a Chateau. July 2, 2006.

A powerful and intriguing story of rescue that resulted in the survival of hundreds of Jews, this movie depicts how 700 Dutch Jews escaped deportation to Nazi concentration camps by hiding in a chateau in Nazi-occupied Holland. 

This movie was part of a theme telling the story of Dutch Jewry that began at Yom HaShoah on April 24, 2006 and continued through the summer. It was shown in partnership with the Yiddish Book Center.
