Game Face:  What does a female athlete look like? - October-December 2002

Game Face workshop for teachers was offered in conjunction with the Game Face photography exhibit held at the Springfield Art Museum.

Hatikvah partnered with the Museum’s education department  to offer a two-session workshop.  The first session was held at Hatikvah on October 11, 2002 and the second at the Art Museum on December 18, 2002, which included a guided tour of the Game Face exhibit. 

Game Face documents the tremendous impact that sports has on the daily lives of millions of girls and women.  Each image offers an affirming and satisfying answer to the question at the heart of Game Face: What do girls and women look like, freed from traditional feminine constraints, using their bodies in joyful and empowering ways?
