Whitney Harris Video

Attorney Whitney Harris, the last surviving prosecutor from the Nuremberg Trials, was the keynote speaker at Hatikvah Holocaust Education Center’s first annual dinner commemorating the opening of our Permanent Exhibit. This video contains a brief view of his thoughts about democracy.

Dedication Video

On November 7, 2004, Hatikvah Holocaust Education Center dedicated our new permanent exhibit, “A Reason to Remember: Roth, Germany 1933-1942”.    Survivors, their descendants, visitors from Roth and local dignitaries attended the ceremony.
This video shows the Dedication ceremony that took place at the Jewish Community Center.

NECN (New England Cable News Network)

In October of 2004, two important exhibits came to the greater Springfield area. “A Reason to Remember”, a permanent exhibit opened at Hatikvah Holocaust Education Center and “The Nazi Olympics: Berlin, 1936” a temporary exhibit on loan from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. opened at the basketball Hall of Fame. This video shows NECN’s coverage of the two exhibits.
