Partnership With WGBY

WGBY, Hatikvah Holocaust Education Center and Facing History and Ourselves partnered to sponsor a professional development workshop on how to effectively use the PBS series "Auschwitz: Inside the Nazi State" in the high school classroom.

Ten teachers from five schools in Massachusetts participated in a day long workshop with Mary Johnson and Toby Levine who co-authored a curriculum to accompany the film series that aired in January on Public Television.     The workshop took place at Hatikvah and the facilitators structured their presentations around the permanent exhibit.
